Data Collection and Analysis
CTS has firmly established itself as the go-to partner for state and local transportation agencies for traffic monitoring, spatial analytics, and TMS/WIM inspections and certifications. We have developed a number of programs, including the Treasure Coast Regional Household Survey Mobile App, and the data collection tool for RHCI for the FRO Office. Our experience further extends to using U.S. Census Bureau APIs to interface with the Census Data Portal to develop the annual Commuting Trends in Florida Special Report for the Forecasting and Trends Office.
With an unparalleled data collection ability, CTS has the capacity to fulfill a span of data collection services. We are equipped with state-of-the-art traffic counters that can ensure accurate and thorough data collection. CTS owns 150+ ADR Counters, 100+ Metro Counters, 20 Wavetronix Smart Sensor (for non-intrusive freeway counts), 50+ Mitron MCS 3000 Counters, 50+ Jamar TMC Boards, 50+ GPS Units, and 50+ IP cameras.
Our team has successfully collected data for over 1,500 locations every year for our clients. In addition to annual traffic count assignments, we are experienced in performing 7-day and 14-day ADT and classification counts, intersection turning movement counts (TMC), pedestrian/bicycle counts, Origin-Destination (OD) surveys, and speed/travel time surveys, among many other traffic data collection tasks.
