CTS was the lead for design, outreach, municipality coordination, scheduling, cost estimates, and other aspects through post design support.

CTS is leading all design, survey, RFP development, inter-office and FDOT coordination, PD&E coordination, multimodal facility coordination, scheduling, and estimating services.

Safety and Resurfacing
Project included safety improvements along US-27 in Broward County from just N of I-75 to the Broward/Palm Beach County line.

CTS was the prime design consultant and was selected by FDOT District 4 to provide project management, engineering, and post design services to prepare widening, restriping, and repurposing of the outside through lanes to create 4’ bike lanes within the project limits.

General Engineering Services
The contract is utilized to perform a variety of general engineering services.

The PortMiami tunnel evaluation study aimed to develop a plan for monitoring the performance of the seaport’s access and preserving its functionality for decades to come.

CTS provided professional traffic engineering services, including the development of various traffic operations and safety studies at intersections/arterials and related improvement alternatives/recommendations and evaluations.

CTS provided a variety of transit and rail-related engineering and planning services.

The principal purpose of this 3R Project is to preserve and extend the service life of the roadway by milling and resurfacing the existing pavement, as well as to enhance safety.

The Safety Pushbutton Design effort included over 50 Task Work Orders for various improvements throughout Miami-Dade County at over 150 locations.

CTS is providing comprehensive architectural and engineering services to the Capital Programs Division of the Broward County Transportation Department on a project specific basis in support of the ongoing transit shelter improvement projects.

CTS is providing professional services that include a full range of Subsurface Utility
Engineering (“SUE”) and infrastructure mapping to support Broward County Water and Wastewater Services.

CTS provided utility designation services (Quality level B) to verify the Horizontal location of a Florida Gas transmission pipeline route.

The main goal of this project was to provide engineering survey services for a new lighting system to the FDOT transportation facility (900+ Light Poles along 18 Miles).

The project included the study of a 577-acre neighborhood to analyze conditions and make recommendations to reduce flooding while improving the quality of runoff by utilizing green infrastructure.

CTS is supporting the Freight & Multimodal Operations (FMO) Office of the FDOT Freight, Logistics & Passenger Operations (FLP) Office with engineering and planning services to RHCI per the 49 CFR 234 requirement.

CTS completed the successful review and determination of safety, operational and engineering acceptability of the Interchange Access Request.

Provide for assessment, research, analysis in transportation-related planning and program support areas.

CTS provided comprehensive planning and engineering services to FDOT District Four’s Strategic Intermodal System (SIS), which include highway, transit, rail, seaport, airport, and waterways.

CTS developed a comprehensive process to assist Broward County in identifying and prioritizing the top 100 intersection locations based on their needs.

CTS provided planning services to Districtwide routine traffic data collection, project specific data collection, project traffic and 18-Kip report, TMS inspections, PTMS design, GIS support, and other general traffic data collection and analysis support for the District.
